We didn’t find Paraguay.
We chose it.

Not as a market opportunity — as a home. And when we looked closely at the country we were building our life in, we kept coming back to the same question: why has no one fixed the flooding?

I’ve spent 20 years learning how things actually work — from managing finances in South Africa, to building a company in China, to sourcing hardware directly from factories with no middlemen. I don’t just see systems. I see the people inside them.

When I started researching Paraguay — the country my partner and I are choosing as our permanent home — I found a problem hiding in plain sight. Every rainy season, families lose everything. Streets turn to rivers. Municipalities spend $35M reacting to damage that a better system could prevent. And 15,000 informal waste pickers work without protection, income security, or a path forward.

Nobody had connected the dots yet.

So I did.

I founded Yvy Pyahu — New Earth — because infrastructure should be resilient, data-driven, and inclusive. And because some problems don’t wait for permission to be solved.

Co-Founder & COO

I’ve managed warehouses in Afghanistan for American contractors, controlled stock for one of the world’s largest consumer brands, and spent six years learning Spanish because Latin America has always felt like where we belong.

I’m not a person who talks about things. I’m a person who makes them happen.

As COO of Yvy Pyahu, I oversee legal structure, logistics, and operational delivery — the same skills I’ve applied across four continents. Paraguay isn’t just our next business venture. It’s where my partner and I are growing old. That changes everything about how seriously we take getting this right.

Maybe that someone is me.
And maybe the help I need... is you.

We’re not building Yvy Pyahu from the outside looking in. We’re building it as the people who chose Paraguay as home — who will live with the results, celebrate the wins, and feel the weight of every family that still floods while we’re still building.

If you’re the kind of person who sees a broken thing and thinks “someone should fix that” — we’d like to meet you.

“Yvy Pyahu” means New Earth in Guaraní — the language of the people this project will serve.
